Understanding Muslim audiences and markets.
The intelligence capability inside We Are Friday. It combines our own research, the data your organisation already holds, and faith-aware interpretation, so evidence turns into decisions.

Most organisations do not lack data.
They have research, records, campaign results and, increasingly, AI-generated analysis. Muslim audiences are diverse and changing, and there is no single Muslim consumer. The harder questions remain unanswered.
- →What does our existing research and data actually mean?
- →Which Muslim audiences matter most to this decision, and why?
- →How does faith shape behaviour in this category?
- →Where are we losing trust, relevance or attention?
- →What should we do next, and what are the trade-offs?
One view, built from unequal inputs.
Your own data
Customer, donor, campaign and CRM data your organisation already holds, read with the cultural context that is usually missing.
Friday research
Original research into Muslim audiences, markets and brands, built through our own work.
Interpretation
Faith-aware expertise and judgement that turn evidence into decisions.
Values scrutiny outpacing trust
The gap widened again this wave. Conduct is now the deciding factor in consideration.

Audience and market intelligence.
Research, segmentation, brand perception and market signals, in service of one thing: a clearer view of Muslim audiences and markets.
There is no single Muslim consumer.
Segmentation built from our research and yours, described so teams can use it: who they are, what moves them, and how sensitive they are to how a brand behaves.
A structured way to read the differences
Illustrative segments showing how Friday research and client data can be structured into usable audience profiles.
The Conscious Spender
Buys on values. Halal integrity and ethical sourcing shape consideration long before price.
- →Verifiable halal sourcing
- →Consistent conduct over claims
- →Community endorsement
Segments are rebuilt for each project from Friday research and the organisation's own data. The view above shows the shape of the output rather than a fixed dataset.
Where a question becomes a decision.
Evidence, a recommendation, and the measured result, so the next decision is better.
Why are we not being considered?
One question, traced from the evidence through to the measured action
Evidence
Brand research shows trust sits at category level, but cultural understanding is 34 points below the audience expectation.
Demonstration dataset showing how research and organisational data can be read together
Interpretation
The problem is not awareness. The audience does not believe the organisation understands them, so messaging spend is being wasted.
Reviewed by our research and strategy team
Decision
Fix conduct and product signals before increasing media spend. Accept slower reach in exchange for credibility.
Trade-off stated openly with the client
Action
Reworked proposition, then a campaign built with community talent, tested against a held-back control group.
Measured, then fed back into the next decision
Which audience matters here?
Segmentation showed two groups drove most of the category value with different triggers, so we led with one and built a second entry point for the other.
What is our own data telling us?
A large single-gift group was concentrated in one period of the year, so stewardship was funded before acquisition.
Worked examples, adapted from client projects and shown illustratively. Every recommendation carries the evidence it rests on, the judgement we applied and the trade-off it involves.
Muslim Giving.
For charities, NGOs and organisations working in Islamic philanthropy, Friday Insights is applied to donors and giving behaviour: Ramadan, Zakat and Sadaqah, segmentation, retention and faith-aware stewardship. One application of the wider capability, not a separate business.
Explore Muslim GivingEvidence, then interpretation
We show sources, assumptions and limitations, and distinguish what the evidence supports from what it does not.
Your data stays yours
Client data remains client-owned. Confidential information is never quietly turned into Friday intelligence.
AI is a tool, not the product
AI helps us work faster. The value is evidence, cultural context and judgement.
